The estate today represents a total surface area of 370 acres including 160 acres of vines, all just a few miles away from Bordeaux.

The winery and ageing cellars boast a range of equipment found in the finest Crus Classés: stainless steel fermentation tanks for the Cabernet and smoothed concrete tanks for the Merlot.
All the tanks are equipped with temperature control units and a micro-bubble system.

A contemporary work by Miguel Berrocal in the main courtyard and a superb garden of English roses are the first inviting steps upon your arrival.

You may equally take in the coats of arms of Wilhelm Pieraerts, ancestor of Philippe Pieraerts, Alderman of Tirlemont (in Flemish Belgium), knighted by Philippe le Bon, Duke of Burgundy, in 1452, the year of the construction of Château Carignan by Jean Poton de Xaintrailles.
